Dr Lahori Roy passed MBBS from R G kar Medical College Kolkata with 9 Honors including surgery and was awarded class assistant (best student) in various subjects including medicine.
She completed her MS from RG kar Medical College Kolkata where she was awarded the gold medal by the honorary governor for scoring the highest marks in gynae and OBS in the entire state of West Bengal.
Her thesis was presented in various conferences and was awarded recognition for it. She subsequently did her DNB from national board of examinations Delhi. She was conferred MRCOG (membership of Royal College of obstetrics and gynecology…, London).
She has participated and successfully completed various courses on infertility, ART, USG, folliculometry, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy from different institutes. She has presented papers and posters in various conferences and has acclaimed National recognition for them.
Dr Lahori Roy has been invited to deliver lectures in many conferences at regional and national level. She has many research Publications at peer and esteemed journals. She is actively involved in MRCOG training program for training doctors aspiring for MRCOG. She is an active member of Bengal OBS and gynecological Society (b o g s).
She has participated in various National level quiz programmes and has been National Champions. She performs all types of laparoscopic gynecological surgeries including hysterectomy (removal of womb), Myomectomy (removal of tumor), cystectomy (chocolate cyst) , ovarian drilling( PCOD ).
